Barry Allen
Program Manager


Barry joined Aerospace Concepts in 2006 with 30 years experience in business jet aviation.

He started his career at Innotech Aviation in Ottawa where he was part of the team managing the start-up of a new general aviation operation in Aerial Remote Sensing. In 1976, Barry joined Canadair in Montreal with the launch of the Challenger program where he started in the Product Support group developing technical information packages as the Challenger 600 came on line. He then took a position in the Canadair Contracts Department in 1979 as Business Aircraft Delivery Coordinator, delivering the very first Challenger into service in 1979.

Over the next 24 years, Barry occupied a number of roles within the Canadair/Bombardier Contracts organization in the areas of both contract management and aircraft delivery, eventually becoming the Director of Contracts – Delivery Operations for the Business Jet Division of the Bombardier Aerospace Group in 1995, with responsibility for the oversight of business jet deliveries from all respective Bombardier sites.

During his career at Bombardier Barry was responsible for the successful delivery of over 800 aircraft.

In 2004 he left Bombardier to work as a consultant providing assistance in the import/export, certification, registration and delivery of business aircraft.
