Technical Completions
Gary started his career in Aviation as a civilian aircraft
technician in the British Royal Air Force working with
the major servicing team. He was responsible for major
deep strip overhauls, major structural rectifications,
modifications, systems rebuilding, rigging, and functional
testing for military aircraft including VC-10 Tornados
and Jaguars.
In 1996 he was promoted to Supervisor 1 Squadron, managing
a team of personnel working on military aircraft. In
addition to the day-to-day management of the team,
Gary was responsible for ensuring Quality Assurance
and worked to the standards of ISO 9002. He was successful
in developing and introducing a monitoring system for
aircraft components.
Gary later moved to Marshall’s of Cambridge England,
where he was involved in the major servicing of 747-400
series and C130 Hercules special modifications.
In May 2003 he joined C&D Aerospace as a Quality
Control Inspector. His main area of responsibility
was inspecting the cabinetry for the Global 5000 and
Challenger Business Jets, as well as the Dash 8 commercial
aircraft.
Gary joined ACL in February 2004 as Manager Technical
Completions. He brings to ACL a unique combination
of experience in both airframe structures as well as
cabinetry, and is currently working on his AME License.
